Kinship Care (Parental Leave) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would allow relatives who are caring for children (known as kinship carers) to take parental leave from work with pay, similar to what parents can currently do. It recognises that some children are raised by grandparents or other family members rather than their parents, and gives these carers legal rights to time off.

Presented by Katherine Fletcher.
