[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would make it against the law for UK citizens to keep primates (such as monkeys and apes) as pets. The aim is to protect these animals' wellbeing, as primates have complex needs that are difficult to meet in a home environment, and to reduce public health and safety risks.

Presented by Sheryll Murray.
