[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill requires the UK government to develop and publish a comprehensive national strategy addressing interpersonal abuse and violence against men and boys. The strategy would include measures to prevent abuse, support survivors through improved services and funding, and improve data collection to better understand the scale and nature of the problem. The bill aims to ensure that male victims receive comparable attention and resources to female victims within the existing domestic abuse and violence prevention framework, rather than being treated as a secondary concern.
Presented by Ben Obese-Jecty.
