International Trade Agreements (Scrutiny) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill gives Parliament stronger powers to examine international trade agreements. Currently, the government can negotiate and sign trade deals with limited parliamentary input. The bill would require the government to provide more information to MPs and give them more time to debate and potentially block trade agreements they think are bad for the UK.
Presented by Geraint Davies.
