Human Rights Act 1998 (Meaning of Public Authority) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to change how the Human Rights Act 1998 defines a 'public authority' , the organisations that must respect people's human rights. Currently, courts decide casebycase which organisations count; this bill would set clearer, fixed rules about which bodies must follow human rights law.
Presented by Mr Andrew Dismore.
