House of Lords (Elections and Reform) Bill [HL]

This bill proposes changing how people become members of the House of Lords. Instead of being appointed for life, some or all Lords would be elected by the public in a similar way to MPs. This aims to make the House of Lords more democratic and accountable to voters.
