House of Lords (Abolition and Replacement) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill proposes abolishing (completely removing) the House of Lords, the upper chamber of Parliament, and replacing it with a new system. Currently, the House of Lords contains appointed life peers, some hereditary peers, and bishops; this bill would end that and create something different instead.
Presented by Frank Field.
