Armed Forces Compensation Scheme and War Pension Scheme (Report) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill requires the government to produce and publish regular reports on how the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS) and War Pension Scheme (WPS) are performing. The AFCS provides financial compensation to service personnel and veterans injured or killed in service since 2005, while the WPS covers those injured in service before that date. By mandating transparent reporting, the bill aims to ensure Parliament and the public can scrutinise whether these schemes are delivering fair compensation, processing claims efficiently, and meeting the needs of injured service members and their families.
Presented by Josh Babarinde.
