Gangmasters Licensing (Extension to Construction Industry) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill extends gangmaster licensing laws to construction work. Currently, gangmasters (labour suppliers) are licensed in agriculture and food processing, but not construction. The bill would bring construction under the same licensing and worker protection rules to stop exploitation and ensure fair treatment of construction workers supplied through labour agencies.

Presented by Mr David Hamilton.
