Armed Forces (Derogation from European Convention on Human Rights) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would allow the UK to temporarily set aside some European human rights rules when the armed forces are operating in certain situations. Essentially, it creates an exception for the military from following all the normal human rights laws, though it would only apply in specific circumstances and would need to follow a formal legal process first.
Presented by Leo Docherty.
