Free School Meals (Children over the age of 16) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill proposes that the government should pay for school meals for all students aged 16 and over, rather than making them pay themselves or bring packed lunches. Currently, free school meals are only guaranteed for younger primary school children and some secondary school students on low incomes; this bill would extend that benefit to older teenagers in school.
