Arbitration and Mediation Services (Equality) Bill [HL]
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill ensures that private arbitration and mediation services (alternatives to going to court to resolve disagreements) must follow UK equality laws. Currently, these services may not be covered by the same antidiscrimination protections that apply to courts, so this bill aims to close that gap and protect people from unfair treatment based on their personal characteristics.
Presented by Baroness Cox.
