Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011 (Repeal) Bill [HL]

This bill removes a 2011 law that made UK general elections happen automatically every 5 years. If passed, Prime Ministers would go back to having the power to decide when to call an election (within a maximum 5year limit), rather than elections happening on a fixed date.
