Animals in Medical Research (Prohibition) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would prohibit the use of animals in medical and scientific research across the UK. It would make it illegal for researchers, pharmaceutical companies, and educational institutions to conduct experiments on animals or use animals to test new medicines, treatments, and cosmetics. The bill would effectively end the current licensing system that permits controlled animal testing under strict conditions. This represents a complete ban rather than reform of existing animal research regulations.
