Electricity Transmission (Protection of Landscape) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to protect the UK's natural landscapes by restricting where electricity transmission lines and pylons can be built. It would require power companies to avoid putting new power lines through scenic areas and countryside, or to use underground cables as an alternative to overhead lines in these locations.
Presented by Tessa Munt.
