Double Taxation Treaties (Developing Countries) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to change how the UK handles tax agreements with developing countries. Currently, when a company pays taxes in two countries, there are rules to stop them being taxed twice, but these rules often favour richer nations. This bill would make those agreements fairer so developing countries can collect more tax from businesses, helping them fund public services.
Presented by Roger Mullin.
